The other morning the kids and I were reading scriptures after breakfast, and we were reading the story of Solomon asking Heavenly Father for wisdom. After reading, I asked Brianne and William, if they could ask Heavenly Father for anything, what would it be. William immediately said, "Pop!" meaning a lollipop. Brianne said the doll she wants. There is an American Girl doll named Mia who is ice skating, and Brianne has been carrying around the magazine page for weeks now.
I just thought it was amazing how simple their requests would be of Heavenly Father.

My girls have been consumed with the most recent American Girl catalog too. They both have gone through it and put their names by what they want for Christmas! I think Kara has settled on Julie because she looks like her. Kayla really likes Molly but has had Mia on her priority list also since she loves ice skating and Mia's reddish hair. I hope Santa Claus has a lot of money this year. Ha Ha!
I really enjoy watching my girls play with their American Girl dolls!
