The rabbits are on the loose!!A couple weeks ago we lost Oreo after a storm knocked the gate open, and have never found him. Worried that Sandy would be lonely, I put a post on a local mommies group, looking for one or two more female rabbits, since Sandy was female.
I picked up two rabbits in Hampton, had them in a box in the van with the kids, and they had no clue. When we got home, the kids went in to see Bryan, and I put the rabbits in the kennel with Sandy, with a note from the Easter Rabbit saying he had two rabbits that needed a home and brought them to us.
Well, imagine my dismay when I very quickly realized in a matter of minutes that Sandy was actually a boy, and the other two rabbits that I had intentionally gotten as females, were females. Luckily there are no babies yet.
Anyway, the rabbits have decided they are going to dig tunnels, and go in and out of the kennel at their leisure. After filling in holes over and over again, I have given up. They seem to love going in and out all day long.
