William's Favorites

William is my little man. I feel bad for him because lately I think he has really been feeling left out of the group. Brianne demands attention, and Bryson cries for attention. William is just there, a little above crying and not quite talking.
After spending the day alone with him today without Brianne, and thinking about this, I reflected on some of his favorites.
William and I spent about 15 minutes rolling his soccer ball back and forth. When then spent about 30 minutes sitting on the front porch swing listening to the birds and looking for any to fly by. He loves birds! He kept telling me they were "my birds." He loves cars too! I have this card book that has little toy cars in it. He loves taking them in and out, over and over again. It really is cute!

I'm glad you were able to spend some quality time with William. That's the hardest thing with having so many little ones -- I constantly worry about the amount of attention each one gets. It's a hard balancing act -- that's for sure! :-)

It doesn't matter how hard you try, you'll always have one of the kids who feel left out. To this day Spencer "claims" to have been ignored because he was the "middle" child. We all know better, but it was really hard with Mars 18 months older & Marisa 18 months younger. He truly was crammed right in the middle!
