On Memorial Day Guada and I took all of the kids to the beach in Matthews. It was great!! We all had the most wonderful time! The beach is always empty, and except for a few people coming for the holiday, it was empty. We played in the water, in the sand, went for a walk, had tons of snacks, and just had a great time.
Bryson didn't get in the water because I thought it was too cold for him, and he finally passed out in the stroller to keep for a couple hours.
We had a picnic lunch and Guada made these amazing ice cream cone cookie treats. They were great!
None of us wanted to leave that afternoon, and we all can't wait to go back. The kids were all asleep in the car within a couple minutes of leaving.
What a great relaxing day!!
