Homeschool Baltimore Trip May 2012

The homeschool Baltimor trip was wonderful!! The itinerary was as follows: Homeschooling Together Baltimore & DC Trip Friday & Saturday, May 18-19th, 2012 Fri., May 18th - Leave Gloucester 6am May 18th (pick up – back of Big Lots Parking lot in Gloucester Court house area) - Arrive Baltimore Science Center 10am - Ordered Lunch – Pick up 12pm - Leave Science Center 2:45pm - Go across harbor to National Aquarium 3pm - Leave National Aquarium 6p (promptly) - Go to Medieval Times Tournament for dinner show 7:30pm – arrive 6:30pm - Hotel after Medieval Times – Comfort Suites BWI – 4 miles from dinner  Rooms are all assigned Sat. May 19th - Leave hotel 9am – continental breakfast offered downstairs – bus leaving at 9am Arrive DC 10am - Tour Museum Natural History 10-1pm - Eat lunch on mall lawn 1pm– please meet to eat as a group – buy lunch at local vendors or local museum cafes - Tour Air & Space Museum 2-6pm - Leave for home – stop at Chick-fil-a on way home for dinners on bus (Fredericksburg) - Arrive home 10pm approx *** All times are prompt leaving times, so please begin boarding bus 15 minutes prior to leaving time for each event. It was a great trip! I loved it when William was in the Smithsonian and he saw amber on display and was so excited because we had just learned about it. Alexander loved the knights at the dinner show and kept clapping his hands. Brianne loved the aquarium and Bryson loved the insects and bugs in the Smithsonian.
