We had a grand time for Halloween! Brianne was Tinkerbell, William was Captain Hook and Bryson was Peter Pan. We went to a subdivision in the courthouse because it was a little closer to home. We went to 8-10 houses until we were freezing and Brianne started asking to go home.

We saved a very lit up house for last, which was a small mistake. There were 3-4 older women sitting on the porch, and one of the kept saying, "come closer." Next to the steps there was this terrible looking monster. It was tall with a black head and white garb on. When the women walked in front of it, it came to life, turned green and started moving and making noises. William was terrified. I was very upset because they were intentionally trying to scare him.

As we were walking away from the house, we asked William if he had fun trick or treating and he said, "No, mean witch. Very mean witch." We went to one more house after that, but that is still what he mentions when you bring up trick or treating.
