Brianne's 5th Birthday Party

All Brianne wanted this year was a horse party. I'm really glad she liked her cake.

Carol brought Frosty over for the kids to have horse rides. They all loved it!!

It was Brigid's first time on a horse.

As well as Peyton's.

The horse pinata was a hit. It was so incredibly hot and humid outside that we decided to bring it indoors.

Everyone kept hitting, but it just would not break!

Brianne's friend, Cierra, finally broke the pinata.

My Papa brought over a chicken suit for some reason, and somehow talked Carol into putting it on for the kids. Wow!

This year I put a quarter in the horse cake. Whoever found it would have good luck for a year. Kyree found the quarter.

Clare and Bryson kept playing together with their little toy horses.

Brianne loved her birthday this year. She invited all of her friends over. Kyla, Madelyn, Nathan, Brigid, Clare, Cierra, Kayla, Kyree, Peyton, and Kendall all came over for the party. Along with grandparents and aunt (Aunt Jen). It was incredibly hot, so we had to change plans some and move some things indoors, but she loved it and the kids seemed to have a lot of fun too!
I cannot believe my first child is 5 years old now. Bryan and I were talking about living in the apartment, and getting up early to drive to the hospital. We thought about our hospital stay, coming back to the apartment, his mother flying out, and our first few days with her.

Time goes by so fast.
