For Labor Day, our stake always has a stake temple trip. It was a long trip, but it was definitely worth taking the whole family. We left at 5am to get to our ward's 8:30a session. Bryan went in, while I stayed out with the kids. The kids and I walked about the temple, looked at the reflecting pool, went in the foyer of the temple, colored and played with bubbles on the lawn, toured the visitors center, and had snacks. They had a lot of fun, but 4 1/2 hours was rather long to keep them entertained out there. Brianne's favorite thing was going in the temple, while William said his was "walking." I think Bryson's was the few times he was held by Mommy.Afterwards, we went to a car dealership outside of DC and traded in our Ford Escape for a Ford Expedition. Everyone fits again and I am not stranded at home anymore. Plus, it was pretty much an even trade because SUVs have gone down so much. I'm scared to drive something that big though.
It was a great day, and even though I am still exhausted today, I am really glad we went!

Looks like a great day! Beautiful pictures.
I'm glad you were able to get to the temple and have a fun family day together! I remember taking our kids to the Washington DC temple many times and waiting out with them while Josh and I took turns going through the temple -- it DOES make for a long day, but some GREAT memories!!
WOW... a FORD Expedition!!! That's fancy!! :-) Glad you all fit now!
