We were all prepared for a ferocious storm, and instead the kids and I were able to sit on the front porch and watch the light rain and wind. Brianne loved hearing the noises of the leaves moving. Guada did lose the canopy covering their deck table, but that was the extent of our damage.
Bryan, nevertheless, still had to go in to work to restore power. When he did get home on Sunday, the kids had a blast trying on all of his equipment.

It's great to be prepared, but even greater to sit out the storm without damage. We're glad you survived with no problems.
