Brianne got moved to advanced gymnastics this fall and got to participate in her first gymnastics competition. It was hosted by our Gloucester and our coach and the girls participated in different events. The way the meet was set up made all of the girls feel good about their performance in the meet. Brianne got some 2nds, 3rds, and 4th, and then she did get a 1st on the balance beam. She had been telling me for a few weeks that she could do a one handed hand spring off the balance beam, but I had not seen it yet. We were so proud of her for getting out there and doing her best, and being happy with whatever place she got in the events.
